Throughout this year, my aim has been to achieve a body of work which successfully interprets my concept of seeds (nature's time capsules) as vessels to contain and express my memories. I present in my work the retention and containment of past memory in the present - frozen in a sculptural narrative of mould-blown, glass forms, copper, porcelain and words. One of four final pieces expresses this idea through hand-etched memories on the surface of three standing, sensuous pods. My work is intended for exhibition in art and craft galleries and private commissions.
