The ideas for my practice stem from the objects that surround me in my natural environment. This current practice was inspired by exploring the fragility and the connection between the leaf and fruit of a physalis.

Glass is the central material used as it enables me to manipulate my work to develop and portray my ideas. Colour features in all of my work to further enhance these ideas, whilst also intending to connect a collection and produce an attractive art piece. Each piece is free blown to ensure individuality, with the aim of achieving a decorative, unique, but also functional piece.
